Before or after the tour of the Schloss Eggenberg brewery, you have the opportunity to visit other interesting excursion destinations in the Almtal in the Salzkammergut!

Independency keeps us fresh! We are brewing beer since 1681 in Vorchdorf at Castle Eggenberg. As a visitor of the private brewery you experience innovative beer culture between ancient tradition and modern age. Inside the heart of the brewery, the state of the art brewhouse, you learn about the art of beer brewing.
Come on a brewery tour!
A guided tour of our brewery is an entertaining journey through the centuries, a sensory introduction to the raw materials and their origins, a tour of the beer production process, familiarisation with the attitude of our private brewery and an opportunity to taste our beers.
The pure Eggenberg experience for groups of 10 or more:
Brewery tour with beer sommelier, including stories about the historic castle. Finish with a beer tasting and oven-fresh pastries in the "Alter Eiskeller" (Old Ice Cellar).
Duration approx. 2 hours
Be our guest in our private brewery and join us on a tour of the transformation of hops, water and malt into fresh Eggenberg beer. And, of course, you will also be able to taste a wide variety of beers. We hope you come curious and thirsty (for knowledge), because a unique experience awaits you.
Price per person (pastries): € 17.40 incl. VAT.
Price from 20 persons (pastries): € 14.70 incl. VAT.
