REVIEW - 2nd LONG NIGHT OF INDUSTRIAL CULTURE

ON THE TRAIL OF INDUSTRY - OVER 3,000 VISITORS TOOK PART
The Long Night of Industrial Culture was successfully organised for the second time.
21 companies and museums opened their doors wide on Thursday, 1 September from 4pm to 10pm and were delighted with the great interest shown by the regional population.
Over 3,000 interested people took part in the fantastic event and visited well-known, traditional companies & museums with interesting industrial history and took a look behind the scenes of past and present industry. Even employees took advantage of the offer to show their families around the company.

Three companies and museums are presented in more detail. The first is the Geyerhammer scythe museum in Scharnstein. The chairwoman Ilse Schachinger speaks, as well as the company Laakirchen Papier AG, Heinzel Paper. The Managing Director of the Traunsee Almtal Tourism Association, Mr Andreas Murray, and CEO Thomas Welt of Laakirchner Papier AG, Heinzel Paper, will be interviewed.
